Clonemines v0.2 Released

Myersn024 communicated Clonemines v0.2. A puzzle game that looks like a mix of Tetris and Lumines.
This version has many changes. The first thing you notice is the reduction of playable area. It has been reduced from the full-page screen down to 16 X 10. This is the same size as the area playable for Lumines for the PSP. The second big change is that removal is blocked every 10 seconds instead of 15. Furthermore, the abolition bloc is also independent of a block to be abandoned. There is still no sweeper destroyer line or block. The sweeper of the line should be in the next version, but I do not know yet on the destroyer bloc.

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games Catch Top Spot

The figures in the chart are on track British, and it is confirmed: Sega's Sonic & Mario Olympic Games nabbed succeeded in the first place in terms of sales, for the week ending January 19 this year. Who would have known it unlikely that such a clash of world - that being, the fungus kingdom and the people of Mobius - would rock more than 4 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Assassin's Creed, and Super Mario Galaxy? No one, but we must give credit where it is due - and the guys in the Sega deserve pique.
Below is a list of ten major titles:
1. Mario & Sonic Olympic Games (Sega)
2. 4 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (Infinity Ward)
3. The Simpsons Game (Electronic Arts)
4. Dr Kawashima's Brain Training (Nintendo)
5. More Brain Training Dr Kawashima (Nintendo)
6. Assassin's Creed (Ubisoft Montreal)
7. FIFA 08 (EA Canada)
8. Super Mario Galaxy (Nintendo)
9. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Neversoft)
10. Wii Play (Nintendo)
Looking at the list, there are certainly many and engines. Wii Play, for example, managed to jump to the tenth place after being blocked at the 36th place in the Chart Track. Super Mario Galaxy is another, making the jump from 15th to 8th place. For those unfortunate enough to take a few notches, it is none other than FIFA 08, which fell five places to the top of the second place. (source:QJ.net)

Star WarsThe Force Unleashed details during CES 2008

LucasArts has unveiled a portrait short demo of some of these powers of the Force treated in the latest video game Star Wars franchise with Star Wars: Force Unleashed.

Here are some of those teasers whet appetites Jedi or Sith yours:
- The main character, the secret of Apprentice Darth Vader, is played by Sam Witwer, BattleStar Galactica's Crashdown
- He holds his lightsaber behind his back in a way that seems very unorthodox but pleasantly threatening, and also allows players to see all the lightsaber from the camera is always behind the player.
- Boss bottles will be enormous in scope, including a Rancor fight. There will be God of War-like tapping button at the end of the battle, but it will not be for most points, you will not lose a fight by missing a button press
- There will lightsaber character and customization, but you will not be able to carry twice or have the double helix lightsabers
- The Wii version of the game will include a two-player duel mode where you can show your lightsaber skills against a friend in the same room.
- The PSP version will contain scenes of classic Star Wars other films with the most over-the-top Unleashed powers of the force.
The point of the new engine used in Star Wars: Force Unleashed adds a whole new dimension of realism to the game. Currently, the game is in alpha stage and is expected to be published this summer for 360, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, and DS.

NDS Games Can Be Downloaded From Nintendo Wii, Rumor?
We have long known the Nintendo DS is capable of downloading content such as demos kiosks, but "complete games" will soon be downloadable through the Wii, then Wi-Fi transferable to the DS, according to Nintendo of America President Reggie Fils - Aime of the interview with the NYT. But for the moment, only one game has been announced, Professor Layton. So, we are left with more questions than answers. Nintendo will open their retro gaming console virtual Gamboy older titles? But even more importantly, Nintendo will really let you download games without catching?
For example, how the games will be stored on the DS? Or will they be stored at all? DS detail in kiosks, demo content is only shared with the DS in a temporary buffer, nothing is really written to the system's hard disk, because this unit has no such storage. So, once you turn off the DS, you lose your demo forever.
Nintendo could deal with this problem in two ways. First, they could use a system like DSVision or R4, which is essentially a cartridge DS in writing, to retain these titles downloaded. Or, as the company is facing piracy incredible amounts already (before putting the emulation technology in the hands of all consumers), Nintendo could limit the system just as they do DS kiosks. It is possible that consumers have access only to games downloaded from the moment they are synchronized, and the time that the DS is turned off.
Save games could become a problem in this scenario, but we must ask ourselves why would Nintendo Wii in the equation at all, otherwise. (source)

Nintendo DS games can be downloaded using Wii

Games on one console are often missing from others. Gamers have to depend on gaming companies to arrive with versions of the same game playable on different consoles. Gamers have always felt the necessity to integrate the consoles so that game on one can be easily downloaded on the other.
To make its DS business more profitable Nintendo might soon allow the owners of Nintendo Wii owners to download games on to Nintendo DS handheld consoles. Details of the new project have not been made public yet. Nintendo America’s President and COO, Reggie Fils-Aime has said that the future DS devices will be integrated to the Wii consoles.
Games can be downloaded on Wii over its broadband connection and then transferred wirelessly to DS. It is not clear whether all exciting DS games will be downloaded using Wii.
