The R4 FlashCard People took a hit in the UK since Nintendo and entertainment and leisure Software Publishers Association (ELSPA) has noted the platform home.
For those who do not know about the R4, it is one of the most famous house platforms that can also be used to perform backups of Nintendo DS games.
SimplyGames.com online retailer were asked regarding the sale of cards R4, and took off the FlashCard its shelves since. However, some online stores have apparently always R4 in stock. "Other retailers should follow this example, because it does advocate the use of these products to consumers," SimplyGames Executive Neil Muspratt said.
Other UK-based online retailers, as Play.com have chimed in regard to the possibilities of piracy on the R4. "We must make it as difficult as possible for these items to get into public hands," said Gian Luzio of Play.com.
Apparently, the hardest hit among the gaming industry are the independent studios who develop games titles Nintendo DS. Game Developer independent pads, in particular, have noticed a slowdown quite on the sale of their shares since the R4 DS is now available on the market.
It was quite a moment that the R4 entered the ELSPA and sites of Nintendo. Does this mean that the homebrew scene in the UK will eventually suffer? After all, there is a chance that both ELSPA and Nintendo will shift their attention to other DS FlashCard manufacturers.
More details as they arise.
